Noah Ndero Tjijenda is an Archival journalist, based in London. Working on topics around race, representation, and identity. Noah combines techniques from his photography, research, and design background. Making the often highly complex topics digestible to its viewers.

In 2022 Noah graduated from London College of Communications, with first degree honours (BA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography). During this time he had the chance to collaborate with brilliant creatives, refine his own practice, and gather invaluable knowledge.

Having such a vast background and experience in different disciplines. Noah had his producer debut in 2022. Producing and directing a stop-motion film for designer JE Cai. Which was shown during the official program of London Fashion Week.

Since then Noah worked on productions in various positions. Approaching each with an unwavering will to learn new things. From his seven years in the hospitality industry, to producing projects, working as a documentary photographer, printing & book making, designing, curating, working as a journalist, researcher, historian, in rights clearance, each experience has provided positive influence.

Even when failing or having different outcomes than expected. Noah sees the importance in learning and growing from both positive and negative experiences.

Having a mixed background, of German and Namibian descent, allows Noah to navigate the different worlds his practice revolves around carefully. Growing up as a mixed person in a majority white country (Germany), had many impacts on his development. And influence an ethical approach, based around respect and understanding - especially with Sharers (interviewees).

Teaching empathy from a young age, elevates his documentary work. Especially when collaborating with others on telling their stories.

His work steadily aims to create a space for understanding, discussion, criticism, listening, and acceptance.

We can only understand each other if we actively listen and consider the perspective of others.
